Extra cab — space cab, king cab, whatever your brand calls it — sits between a single and a dual, and a tray is where it really pays off. You pick up a good chunk of usable length over the factory tub without losing the back seats.
Extra cab trays move quickly and there are fewer of them about than dual cabs, so if you see one that suits, it is worth a call. Aluminium is the pick on the coast: no rust, and lighter, so your payload goes on tools rather than on the tray.

Will a tray off a different extra cab fit mine?
Most likely. Our trays generally have adjustable mounts, so an extra cab tray off one make will normally bolt to another. We list the donor ute on every item and flag anything that is multi-fit. Send your year and model and we will check it first.
What does it cost to fit an alloy extra cab tray?
Tub still on: $975, including tub removal and free disposal, tray fitted, mudguards and tail lights done. Cab chassis already: $695. Fitted at our Ningi workshop, normally same day.
Are extra cab trays hard to find used?
Harder than dual cabs, yes — there are simply fewer extra cabs on the road. We usually have a few through at a time. If nothing suits today, call us and we will keep an eye out; stock turns over weekly.
How much is a used extra cab tray?
Typically $1,200 to $2,600 depending on condition and whether mudguards and lights come with it. Every price is listed on the item page and it is firm.
