Aluminium dual cab trays
Second-hand alloy dual cab trays, checked over and fitted while you wait. The most common swap we do.
Used alloy dual cab trays, fitted in a day
A dual cab tray turns the back of your ute into a flat, usable load area — tie-down rails, room for a pallet, and no more lifting gear over a tub lip. Every aluminium dual cab tray we sell has been off a real ute, gone over here, and priced to the condition.
Alloy is the pick for most blokes: it will not rust out on the coast, and it is light enough that you keep your payload for tools instead of spending it on the tray. Steel comes through the yard too, so tell us what you are after and we will keep an eye out.
Dual cab trays usually run 1800–1900mm long and about 1800mm wide. Every listing shows the exact length and width, what ute it came off, and whether mudguards and tail lights are included, so you know what you are buying before you drive out.

Aluminium dual cab tray questions
Will an alloy dual cab tray off a different ute fit mine?
Usually, yes. Most of our trays have fully adjustable mounts, so a tray off a Ranger will bolt to a Hilux or a D-MAX. We list which ute each one came off, and anything marked multi-fit is built to move between vehicles. Send us your year and model and we will confirm before you pay.
What does it cost to fit an aluminium dual cab tray?
If your ute still has the factory tub, it is $975 — tub off and disposed of free, tray on, mudguards and tail lights sorted. If you are already a cab chassis, it is $695. Both are done at our Ningi workshop, usually in a day.
Aluminium or steel — which should I get?
Aluminium for most people. It does not rust, it is lighter so you keep more payload, and it holds its value better second-hand. Steel is tougher against knocks and cheaper up front, which suits a work ute that lives on a site.
How much is a used dual cab tray?
Most of our dual cab trays sit between $1,200 and $2,600 depending on condition, age and whether mudguards and lights are included. Everything in stock is priced on the page — no haggling, no surprises.
Chasing an alloy dual cab tray?
Plenty sells before it makes it online. Tell us your ute and we will let you know the moment one lands.
